Task 6: How is my local public library using social media?

My local public library is Epping but it is merged under Parramatta Council (https://www.cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au/living-community/library)

 They use 7 different types of social media
  1. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cityofparramatta) posts about events, projects, updates, and announcements.
  2. YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/pccweb posts videos about the events they have had, how their projects are going, and announcements.
  3. Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cityofparramatta/ posts pictures and videos mostly of their events and announcements.
  4. Twitter: https://twitter.com/parracity posts about events, projects, updates and announcements.
  5. RSS feeds: https://www.cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au/available-rss-feeds. There are City of Parramatta media releases and City of Parramatta events RSS feeds available.
  6. Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com.au/parralibrary/ are pictures where it has been divided into categories/genres like great for book club, Hercule Poirot, historical fiction, new arrivals, staff picks, parenting, young adult, podcasts, library displays, romance, Australian authors, fantasy, cook books, text classics, reading lists, study, eBooks, cooking, and craft and hobbies.
  7. Their own blog: https://parrareads.parracity.nsw.gov.au/ talks about book lists, reviews on books, author events and book clubs.
